Eva Longoria had a change of seven outfits during The American Latino Media Arts Awards (ALMA Awards) on October 11 in Pasadena, California. They celebrated the best American Latino contributions to music, television and film. Being the host explained Eva’s many outfits…
My favourite outfit is a white strapless gown by Gabriela Cadena, joint closely by the mustard yellow gown from Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2014. The first gown has gold leather detailing and portrays a very modern princess feel, in contrast, Mohapatra’s gown has a sexy image. Which one’s your favourite?
Alexander Wang has created a 38 piece collection for H&M, it boasts the widely anticipated sporty designs that the designer is famous for: signature scuba dresses, logo-emblazoned socks and dark American sport wear theme. The designer has already caused a stir when he was announced as the next designer after Isabel Marant. Tomorrow (17th), at 2:15am there will be a live stream of the collection on http://wangxhmlive.hm.com.
However, for me, I’m not completely sold: it’s natural to not be everyones cup of tea. I only like the 1st dress below. The rest of pieces are shrieking for attention and unless you already gain attention like Rihanna and Rita Ora, I wouldn’t wear it in public. Gym wear… possibly…. -_-‘ But as an off duty look, it should be truly comfortable, and that’s not me.
A whole month after the designer collaboration with Target (14th Sept), the collection is still widely available at NET-A-PORTER.COM, the line features Altuzarra’s signature sleek tailoring, feminine dresses and accessories. “I always want there to be a feeling of beauty and sensuality to my designs”. Joseph Altuzarra’s eponymous label seamlessly blends French sophistication with American ease. For Fall ’14, the award-winning designer has collaborated with US retailer Target to product a limited edition collection that aims to “instill a feeling of power, confidence and beauty in women everywhere.”
Embroidered cotton-blend twill dress: This perfectly tailored tuxedo dress is cut to flatter your figure – satin-trimmed lapels fall in an elegant wrap-effect front and the spliced hem reveals just a hint of skin. The gold and silver heron embroidery adds luxe appeal to this piece.
The Trench. Some fashion love stories are meant to last, and the Altuzarra for Target trench in black, python-inspired jacquard gives this timeless tale a decidedly French flair. Strong in structure and richly seamed, this beautifully detailed coat effortlessly adds a feminine charge to an often-stern outerwear staple with its hip-swaying peplum overlay and gam-glamming, full-skirted fit. The details: fully-lined, belted and double breasted with shoulder flap, buttoned epaulettes and strap detail at the cuff.
Boy’s Club. The women’s tuxedo is much more than an evening gown alternative – it’s the attitude that show-stopping style doesn’t require a skirt. A dash of dapper is just right day or night, and in the right hands (yours!), this Velvet Blazer in Ruby Red from Altuzarra for Target can be award-worthy in the most unlikely places. The fully lined, stylishly-seamed jacket has a notched lapel with tonal satin collar, single covered-button closure and flirty, peplum-inspired back placket. Wear it with the ruby Velvet Ankle Tuxedo pant or slipped nonchalantly over a simple Tee. Contemporary tailored with slight ease.
Floor-skimming frocks are elegant, period. And with it’s dramatic plunge, sheer flounced sleeves, subtle sequins, tasseled neck-ties and oh-my high side slit, the Maxi Dress in Black Swiss Dot from Altuzarra for Target is the most delicate of gowns with the most decadent of detailing. Partner with the Croc belt in black for a stunning silhouette.
It’s time for a H&M Haul again… so I could not take my eyes of this beautiful tshirt. It basically says everything itself… New Fragrance? It’s me. It goes well with everything, and at £7.99 it’s one of my wardrobe staples. Here, I’ve teamed up with a checkered pattern skater skirt.

The Monogram is an iconic print made revolutionary by Louis Vuitton. The signature style was transformed into a universal symbol of modernity in the hands of Georges Vuitton: it is one of the first exercises in elevated branding and a defining sign of a global culture to come.
This week, Louis Vuitton has released it’s collaboration with six creative iconoclasts – the best in their individual fields – who blur the lines between fashion, art, architecture and product design, have been given carte blanche to dictate and make whatever they see fit in the patterned canvas.

My favourite pieces are the Christian Louboutin Shopping Bag and the Marc Newson White Fleeces Pack…

Rimmel London is one of the most trusted beauty brands. British supermodel and style icon Kate Moss is looking irresistible here, with her plum lips and barely there makeup. Coloured lips will brighten any look. I would definitely chose darker and richer colours to bring out our pale skin when the weather is beginning to get windier! I love her boho look, which matches her Topshop collection in April. If you have missed out, don’t worry, there are still some of the collection available on the topshop website (on sale) and on Net-a-porter!! Below are my picks…
Super soft suede runner shorts with pocket detailing, by Kate Moss for Topshop. 100% leather. Now £15.00
Crinkle chiffon blouse with soft feather print. Cut with spliced sleeves and hem, with a lace-up tie front. By Kate Moss for Topshop. 100% viscose. Now £20.00
Finally after such a long wait, I could try on this beautiful maxi H&M dress from the Studio Collection Line, this dress was sold out on the release day and extremely hard to get hold of. Some of the collection is still available online but items which were featured heavily on presses were sold out. I adore this dress, it gives a very cultural vibe and the thigh high split and see through material adds to the sexy appeal. The only downfall is the material is chiffon; there are already threads coming off and will easily disintegrate. Here, I have kept it simple with nude lips and kept my curled hair swept to one side.
For photographic purposes and comfort-wise, I give it 10/10.
There’s one special British designer who I absolutely adore… Lucinda “Lulu” Jane Guinness. If you don’t know about Lulu Guinness… there’s one way to describe her. It’s all about LIPS. The quirky lip designs and girly prints are a must have for every girl’s wardrobe. Millie Mackintosh is clearly loving her Lulu white lips! And for today only… to celebrate the 25th anniversary receive 25% off using code ‘Lulu25′.
Notice Lulu’s collar… I love it…. #ok-gesture-wing-shaped-hand-with-red-nails-collar. Phew… it’s hard to describe! It’s super unique and part of her new Lulu perspective collection.
